Francisca Zapata

Francisca is a Chilean Filmmaker living and working in Los Angeles, CA. Her life has always been unpredictable; It all started in nursing school. Something inside was telling her that wasn't her destiny, she was not made to be a nurse. After that she decided to travel and get to know other stories and cultures so she became a flight attendant for another two years, but she was too busy flying to actually enjoy and internalize all the amazing knowledge she was getting from traveling itself! Finally, in 2016, Francisca came to the US as an Au Pair, during this time she met a local Producer, for which she started working as an Assistant. This was her first glimpse into the film industry. Francisca and her mentor are still collaborating and working together. With this new door opened, Francisca started to connect with other filmmakers, which put her right on track to develop a career, a path, and most importantly, a passion and purpose. Francisca's style and focus is split between two subjects; The captivating stories of female subjects and the petrifying attraction for horror films.
