Edouard Chény is a French actor of Martinican origin. After starting theater in Montreal, Canada, in 2014, he decided to return to France and pursue training at the Cours Florent from 2015 to 2018.
He then made his first significant appearance in the series Munch on TF1 alongside Isabelle Nanty and directed by Julien Seri, followed by roles in English-speaking series for various streaming platforms, such as Serpent Queen with Samantha Morton or Emily in Paris with Lily Collins. He also participated in motion capture for a video game, A Plague Tale: Requiem, created by Asobo Studio, where he played the role of Arnaud. The game was nominated for Best Game of the Year in 2022.
In 2022, he returned to Canada for a time, where he landed roles in TV series such as Sans rendez-vous alongside Magalie Lépine-Blondeau and Les Moments Parfaits with Jean-François Pichette. In 2023, he joined Leo Woodall and Ambika Mod in the British series One Day, an adaptation of the novel of the same name by David Nicholls, where he played the French lover of the main protagonist. At the end of 2023, he joined the cast of the TF1 spy series Menace Imminente, alongside Patrick Bruel, where he plays the role of Djibril. Right now he is back in Quebec where he plays Cedrick Le Merlus aka Dad a soldier in the tv show Les Armes
