Has two daughters Aurora Adams (b. October 8, 2018) and Elliot Rowena Adams (b. May 15, 2021) with his wife Troian Bellisario.

(December 10, 2016) Married his girlfriend of 7 years, Troian Bellisario, in southern California in front of 200 guests following 2-year-long engagement. Guests included Suits (2011) co-star Sarah Rafferty and friend Chris Pine. Also, Bellisario's Pretty Little Liars (2010) co-stars Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson, Sasha Pieterse and Keegan Allen.
