- Mustafa Avkiran was born in 1963 in Gaziantep, Turkey. He is an actor, known for The Man in the Street (1995), Hunting Season (2010) and My Name Is Farah (2023).
- In 1995, together with Övül Avkiran and Naz Erayda he co-founded the theatre "5. Sokak Tiyatrosu" (5th Street Theatre) in Antalya and in 2000 "ISM 2th Floor" in Istanbul with the theatre "Oyunevi". Since 2007, they also run "garajistanbul", a theatre that originated plays such "Ashura" (2004) and "Oyunu Bozun!" (Destroy the Game!, 2006).
- Studied acting at the Mimar Sinan University in Istanbul, Turkey (until 1990). Besides working as an actor, he also directed a number of plays for the national theatre in Istanbul, including "Lower Depths" by Maxim Gorki, for which he also won the 7. Afife prize for best directing.
