[[tmz:video id="0_mtzalnnn"]] Attorney Lisa Bloom seems to say Kevin Hart contacted her client and accused her of being the extortionist behind the sex tape. Lisa just spoke with Harvey Levin on "TMZ Live" and said she believes Kevin may have contacted her client once, but Montia Sabbag vigorously denied any allegation of being the extortionist. Bloom also says the sex scene in the bedroom does indeed seem to be the liaison between Kevin and her client, which she said lasted a weekend.

Alright, the Power Of Veto competition for Big Brother season 19 was played last night, August 19,2017. The feeds were off for quite a while for this one. We didn’t get to find out who won until around 9 pm Pacific time which was actually 11 pm in our Central time zone. According to a report from Big Brother Network, Mark, Raven and Paul were drawn to play. So, the house’s backdoor target Mark did at least get a chance to play for the veto this week. The other players were of course the current Hoh Christmas and her two pawn nominees Jason and Matt. The Zingbot also showed up for this particular comp. From various conversations, it sounds like the competition consisted of the greased slide where the houseguests have to run back and forth trying to fill up a big jar with liquid until it’s high enough for them...

Since seeing Moonlight a few weekends back, I haven’t been able to get it out my head. Its delicate humanism; James Laxton’s hauntingly intimate photography; the brilliant performances of the cast; Barry Jenkins’ masterful direction—this has all stayed with me since I reluctantly walked left the theatre on that balmy Saturday afternoon. The ushers had politely made their presence known as soon as the end credits began, but I was not ready to leave the cinema just yet—I wanted to reflect on what I’d just seen, on how the relationship between Chiron and Kevin may have further evolved. And I wanted to listen closely to Nicholas Britell’s lush“End Credits Suite” as it played out the film’s closing credits. For Moonlight Britell wrote music for a small chamber orchestra that he felt would complement what he describes as the “poetry” of the tender images on screen.

Every hour of This Is Us is better than the last.
That's not just a pat phrase. This Is Us Season 1 Episode 4 took one simple day at "The Pool" for the Pearson family and from it explained so much about how Kevin, Kate and Randall became the people they are today.
The way those stories were all interwoven with the contemporary narrative was seamless and so engaging. Sometimes flashbacks can be so tedious, but the back and forth on This Is Us only makes the series more enjoyable.
It does not, however, make for a simple and logical review. So bear with me as I try to figure this out. Oftentimes I had to choose different ways to make sense of Parenthood, and the same will be true for This Is Us.

The TV version of Kevin may not be able to wait, but Kevin James waited until he had the perfect reason to come back to TV. "This was like the perfect storm of everything coming together," Kevin James tells E! News of his new show, Kevin Can Wait, which is his first trip back to TV since King of Queens ended in 2007. The CBS sitcom finds James retiring from the police force, only to discover that his daughter is about to drop out of college so she can support her fiance, his other daughter is struggling at school, and his son is a hypochondriac. So Kevin's dreams will have to wait until he can sort out his family. "It's based on a lot of my buddies on Long Island,"...

Will Rachel manage to get Jessica to help her find a way to save Leonard Bailey?
That's a huge question after Suits Season 6 Episode 6, but that isn't the only big topic we have have to discuss.
Below, TV Fanatics Allison Nichols, Christine Hinton, Jasmine Blu and Stacy Glanzman discuss Leonard's fate, Kevin's past and Louis getting his girl.
What did you think of Kevin's reveal?
Allison: I liked the reveal a lot. It helped explain why Kevin hadn't turned on his father in law. Kevin may hate his father-in-law, but he would never do anything that would take his kids away from their mother.
Christine: It’s a good twist and made me, and Mike, feel empathy towards Kevin. Now Mike has to realize that if he somehow gets what he needs on the father-in-law, he may very well be sending the mother of two kids to prison too. I...

8.7 The Last Seduction
I signed off last week’s review by pointing out that the absence of Kate in the episode had the unfortunate effect of making us realize that we didn’t really miss her all that much. So it was wise—and possibly the first truly smart thing done all season—to follow that up with The Last Seduction, an episode that reminds us precisely why we should miss our female lead.
The episode revolves—ostensibly—around the murder of a gigolo: a handsome actor who seduces older, rich, married women for initially unspecified but obviously nefarious purposes (boy, wouldn’t it be nice to see more May-December romantic or sexual attachments with women in the December role that were actually based in mutual attraction?). He ends up dead at just about the moment he decides that what he’s doing isn’t very nice,...

A review of tonight's "The Leftovers" coming up just as soon as I ask about your eyepatch... "Do you want to get out of here?" -Kevin "A Matter of Geography" opens with a scene that almost plays as a scathing parody of Damon Lindelof's body of work, and on the larger swath of TV dramas that lean heavily on secrets and mysteries for conflict. Remember all those times on "Lost" when you wanted to throw a shoe at the TV because two characters who had information that could mutually help each other somehow never had a real conversation about it? Well, we got everything we could have possibly wanted from the impromptu, hilariously candid family meeting, as Kevin told his daughter and girlfriend about what he did with Patti in the woods, while Nora bluntly explained, "I hire prostitutes to shoot me." These four (counting baby Lily) are a...

Looking, Season 2, Episode 10: “Looking for Home”
Directed by Andrew Haigh
Written by Andrew Haigh & John Hoffman
Airs Sundays at 10 Pm on HBO
All relationships involve compromises. No one is 100 percent compatible with his or her partner, and so there must be some give and take when building a life together. Typically, the big discussions – about having children, what city to live in, and, yes, whether to be completely monogamous – occur before a couple moves in together, but not so with Looking’s Patrick and Kevin. By this time, the show’s season (and probable series) finale, these two have accelerated the pace of their relationship for different reasons. Kevin needs an excuse to break up with John, and he would never have done so if there were the possibility of him being alone. Patrick wants to prove to himself (also his friends, family, and maybe most importantly, Richie) that...

A review of tonight's "The Leftovers" — which HBO renewed a few days ago — coming up just as soon as I keep my gun in the crisper... "That's all any of us want now, every single one of us. Not answers. Not love. Just a reason to exist. Something to live for. Something to die for." -Patti "The Leftovers" is not "Lost," but because both have Damon Lindelof at the top of the masthead — and because both feature characters coping with an unfathomable, possibly supernaturally-driven loss — there will be times when the new show can't help but evoke the old one. "Two Boats and a Helicopter," for instance, had echoes of the famous John Locke spotlight episode "Walkabout" (and its single-pov style was the "Lost" flashback structure taken to an extreme). "Cairo," meanwhile, plays more than a bit like Lindelof and company — in this case, writers Curtis Gwinn & Carlito Rodriguez, plus...

Kevin may be wooing some with his X-Files rewatch but I’m busy planning a rewatch of my own… as its been a good few years since I’ve picked up my heart off the floor after Lost ended. While I’m tackling the schedule, discussion topics, reading the Lost encyclopedia, and all the things; I took a break to have some fun with a few of the actors who have moved on from Lost and happened to congregate at ABC’s water cooler until Kitsis and Horowitz added them to their Once Upon a Time roster.
At my count, there are currently six LOSTies on Once Upon a Time, including: Hurley, Claire, Sayid, Charlotte, Charles Widmore, and Radzinsky.
Let me know if I’ve forgotten anybody – and to take a look at what some of the other LOSTies are doing now, read more at my blog: Philosofreaky!

We Need To Talk About Kevin

UK / USA, 2011
Lynne Ramsay returns to the big screen after almost a decade long hiatus, and talk about returning with a bang. This explosive adaption of Lionel Shriver’s best-selling novel We Need To Talk About Kevin is a taboo busting tale which has the controversial temerity to suggest that perhaps not all mothers instinctively fall in love with their children and not everyone is programmed to be a parent. Having been ousted from a long gestating adaptation of The Lovely Bones, Ramsay seemed to have been exiled into production limbo, and following a series of personal tragedies one wondered if she would ever return to the screen, but not only does Kevin exceed her previous triumphs, it also offers an evolution in her film-making style and dexterity. Telluride 2011, Day 4: ‘Shame’, ‘We Need to Talk About Kevin’, Tilda, and the future of film history
Telluride 2011, Day 4
Tilda Swinton is the ideal Telluride guest. She’s just famous enough to provide the fest with a bit of an exclusive sheen, but she has more than enough credibility as an artist to suit the fest’s reputation of catering to people who are serious about film. At the public tribute and Q&A that accompanied the screening of We Need to Talk About Kevin, another good reason for her selection emerged: the line of questioning trended towards both the film festivals she has been organizing back in Scotland, and her sense of family. The Telluride fest crew often give the impression of being one hyper-extended global family connected by their love of film and their belief in it as a sacred place to gather in and around – and of the town of Telluride itself as an ideal vessel for that love.
That feeling was only reinforced...

How about a murder-mystery horror film filled with plot twists, action ... oh, and a boatload of hotties running around. Well, sailor, iCrime is just the film you've been looking for.
Vicious Circle Films' iCrime, starring Sarah Fletcher, Kelly Noonan and Travis Brorsen, is like a grown-up version of "iCarly," that is if Carly was being blackmailed with an old sex tape and was forced to venture into Hollywood's seedy underbelly to save herself. On second thought, not really like "iCarly" at all. Way better.
Director Bears Fonté's film will be released on DVD on September 27 and will contain deleted scenes amongst the bonus features.

Is it bad that I was hoping Kevin actually had left his family this week, as Nurse Jackie briefly teased?
I don't want Grace and Fiona to be without their father, but at least such a major development would have made "Mittens" remotely relevant. Instead, we were treated to another episode that just felt like the show spinning its drug-addicted wheels.
Ever since we met Jackie Peyton, she's hidden a drug habit from those around her. And if you stop to think about it, has anything really changed since the series premiere?
It appeared as though Kevin and O'Hara's intervention would be a significant step to conclude season two, but any trace of suspense regarding Jackie and her relationship with her husband and her Bff has pretty much disappeared.
Jackie and O'Hara are officially fine again now; and Kevin may have a few suspicions, and he may be taking advantage...

The latest episode of Nurse Jackie played right into my biggest pet peeve when it comes to medical shows: cases that directly reflect what a character is going through.
This was one of the main reasons why I stopped watching Grey's Anatomy, as it's just lazy to have a patient with a unique ailment come in and - what do you know?!? - his/her disease/struggle/diagnosis just happens to be a perfect complement to whatever life issue is affecting the professional treating him.
It's even a bit insulting. On "Enough Rope," for example, did we really need Jackie to go off about the Dnr dude and how some people just want to be left alone? Hey... wait! That's just how Jackie feels about Kevin and O'Hara butting into her life. Amazing!
Sarcasm aside, I was left with a similar feeling here as I had after the third season premiere.

Simply put, the George Takei voiceover to open and close "Epidemiology" was one of the funniest gags Community has ever done.
While those named Kevin may have appreciated the concluding message more, I missed the show's opening lines laughing so hard at the concept of Takei narrating the episode to begin with, essentially telling viewer: just watch.
Don't worry, George, I most definitely did just that, appreciating the sitcom's return to absurdity grounded in reality this week. Yes, for Community, a costume party where everyone gets infected by a zombie-like bug constitutes a somewhat realistic scenario.
Unlike the past two episodes, which featured broad concepts more than specific jokes, I loved everything about this installment. I've listed some of the best quotes from it below, but to rehash a few gut-busting scenes:
Of course Jeff would act like a cool zombie. Mwah! Chang as Peggy Flemming, getting offended by the...

The world is crashing down around Jackie Peyton.
On the episode "What the Day Brings," she was faced with past decisions coming back to haunt her - and she might not be able to lie or charm her way out of any this time.
First, the man whose life she saved last week showed up at the hospital, flowers and a large donation supposedly in hand. But does anyone believe he actually has pure intentions? I smell a confrontation coming soon, as anyone with that much Oxycontin on him won't simply go away; and also won't be afraid of Jackie.
Next, O'Hara demanded a conversation with her best friend. Jackie managed to avoid it, but O'Hara is not Eddie or Kevin. Jackie can't just kiss her (or do a lot more!) and make her concerns go away. This is one brutally honest, direct doctor. She'll have her moment with Jackie...

For a season that pitted brothers against each other and James Beard nominees against chefs who worked with culinary masters, Wednesday's Top Chef finale kept the drama relatively at bay, highlighting three talented chefs -- Bryan and Michael Voltaggio and Kevin Gillespie -- and their exceptional, interesting food. That is until the show's emotional final moments. Only one could win, and up until the final courses were served for a who’s who of culinary professionals, it looked like fan favorite Kevin may go all the way. But the Atlanta-native fell short despite his strong start, paving the way for...

If parties stayed this convivial, ABC wouldn't have a show.
After a summer off to go to their room (in their fabulous beach front mansions) and Think About What They’ve Done to our favorite dysfunctional family, Tptb returned last night with a new episode of Brothers & Sisters. And like a mischievous twelve-year-old, they decided to screw with the audience by opening with an inexplicable in-episode cliffhanger of Justin and Rebecca maybe getting in a horrible car accident, then cutting to Saul and Nora picking out photographs. The pics might be for a wedding or a funeral, but we're pulling for the latter -- unless Kevin and Scotty were in the other car..
It takes a while to orient ourselves to the fact that Nora’s planning an engagement party for non-siblings Justin and Rebecca. Though thanks to the example set by Mackenzie Phillips and her papa, perhaps the world...

During her run in the Big Brother house, Michele has had her sanity questioned, she's been challenged to a girl-on-girl fight, she's been called a backstabber and a liar and, during one particularly hyperbolic eviction plea, was described by Ronnie as, "The worst person I have ever had the misfortune to meet." No wonder her housemates have dubbed her the Devil. And after 66 days (tack another "6" on there, and things just start to get creepy), that distrust finally caught up with Michele, who missed her shot at making the final three and was forced to pack her bedazzled horns, her blue dress and head to the Jury House. Not that this Devil went without a fight. Kevin may have won the final, and most important, Pov, but it was Michele who played her last days in the house to the hilt. After watching Kevin and Natalie celebrate after the Pov,...
