Vladimir Vdovichenkov was wounded and hospitalized in a Moscow hospital after he was hit by three bullets from a series of gunshots near his home in Moscow, Russia, on November 17, 2010.

Before he became an actor finished the study in the Nautical School in Kronshtadt and went to sea. Acting education in Russian State University of Cinematography named after Sergey Gerasimov (VGIK).

He has two children, a son and a daughter. He and his second wife, Anna, have a son, Leonid, who was born in 1993. And he and Russian actress Olga Filippova , with whom he was in a relationship from 2004 through 2014, have one daughter, Veronika, who was born on April 21, 2005.
