Shaliz Afshar

Shaliz Koleini Afshar was born in San Francisco, California. She attended UC Berkeley as an undergraduate. Upon graduation, she worked as a morning news anchor for NBC affiliate, NewsChannel 21 out of Bend, Oregon. She then moved onto the morning news show at Fox 5 News in Las Vegas, Nevada. Shaliz graduated from Fuqua School of Business at Duke University where she earned her MBA in 2012. She has since served in several minor roles for print, commercial, television and film.
