A New York Times best-selling author, former Detroit journalist Lowell Cauffiel is also a writer and producer known for Love Behind Bars, Men in a Box and Stockholm.
He is the author of ten books, including the true crime best sellers "Masquerade," "Eye of the Beholder," and "House of Secrets," as well as the crime novels, "Marker" and "Toss."
n 2003 Cauffiel, he relocated from Michigan to Los Angeles to write for film and create series television. He's developed film and television projects with, among others, Billy Crystal, David Schwimmer, Michael Medavoy, Kiefer Sutherland, Kathryn Morris and Michael Douglas.
Cauffiel, with director Jonathan Heap, is also the co-founder of Primary Purpose Productions, a Los Angeles non profit that produces entertaining films that inspire people with addictive disorders to seek recovery.
