Director, writer and actor, Nat Boltt's feature film debut, Holy Days, stars Academy Award nominated, BAFTA-, Emmy- and Golden Globe- winning all star cast; Jacki Weaver, Miriam Margolyes and Judy Davis. A graduate of the Warner Brothers Director's Workshop, Boltt is known for her dynamism, humor and enthusiastic work ethic.
Boltt both directed and starred in hit series, Riverdale and is known for roles in District 9, BBC's Inspector George Gently, the CBS comedy Happy Together, action thriller 24 Hours to Live with Ethan Hawke and Ron Howard's series, The Astronauts. Known for her acting range, she is recognized for both comedic and dramatic abilities, is multilingual and proficient in many accents.
Holy Days received support from Blue Fox, Telefilm and the New Zealand Film Commission and is produced by Firefly Films and Lily Pictures. This art house drama, as well as zombie comedy Sweet Child of Mine, are slated for 2025. Her award-winning short films, such as gangster comedy A.T.A.C.K, delicate drama The Silk, and feminist revenge spoof Vajazzle, have earned her a reputation as a talent to watch, while her high-action, stunt-heavy episode of Riverdale shines a light on her as a TV director who delivers.
Boltt is ethnically diverse and well-traveled. Born to a Venezuelan mom and Italian-Swiss dad, she grew up in South Africa, lived in New Zealand, Germany and the UK and resides in North America.
