Our winner is a strong contender among at least five other, almost equally strong contenders. It's a highly original voice in the highly classical genre of crime cinema, making impressive use of location, cinematography and not least music, as well as providing a fully-fledged leading performance from one of America's finer supporting actors (who happens to be Swedish). We hope to see much more from Canadian director Ed Gass-Donnelly, who's second feature this is.
