Emma Stone, Cate Blanchett, and Saoirse Ronan were among the celebs who stepped out for the event on Tuesday (March 5) in Paris, France.

More stars in attendance included Dune: Part Two actress Lea Seydoux, Cynthia Erivo, Jaden Smith, K-Pop star Lisa, Shay Mitchell, Lashana Lynch, and longtime couple Sarah Paulson and Holland Taylor, among others.

In his program note, creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere said, “This is a particular evening. A meaningful evening. Ten years ago, you came to my first show for Louis Vuitton. I remember the feeling of ‘beginning’, the immense joy I felt to be among you. This joy is still here. Ten years later, this evening is a new dawn.”

Donna Karan New York has announced a major relaunch with the release of a new supermodel-studded campaign.

The company describes the Spring 2024 campaign, titled “In Women We Trust,” as “a resounding celebration of the brand’s iconic heritage that now marks a new chapter in both legacy and future.”

“‘In Women We Trust’ is such a powerful statement,” said model and actress Amber Valletta in a release about appearing in the campaign. “We need more women to lead us into the future because women think differently.”

Vendôme Pictures has acquired the remake rights to produce a scripted adaptation of ”A Fire Within,” an award-winning human rights documentary about Ethiopian refugee Edgegayehu “Edge” Taye.

The 2021 nonfiction film documented how Taye, a torture survivor, flees to the U.S. only to discover that her former torturer is living there and working alongside her at her new job in a midtown Atlanta hotel. It follows the attempts of Taye and two other Ethiopian women to bring her torturer to justice in America. Directed by Christopher Chambers, ”A Fire Within” has won several awards on the film festival circuit after premiering at the Atlanta Film Festival, where it won the audience award for best documentary.

Kendall Jenner, Eva Longoria, and Camila Cabello were just some of the stars who walked during the show on Sunday (October 1) in Paris, France.

This year, alongside the entire L’Oréal Paris spokespeople family, the general public came together under the “Iron Lady” to make a feminine and feminist statement. The show was broadcasted live on Instagram, YouTube, and, for the first time, spectators were able to experience it on Roblox.

Cindy Bruna opened the show in a custom Viktor&Rolf dress with the message “Worth It” emblazoned. Kendall closed the show in a custom Ludovic de Saint Sernin dress, featuring over 150,000 Swarovski Crystals.

Hardison never set out to become the first Black supermodel. In fact, the scope of her ambitions and how they were perceived by society wasn’t something she ever even thought about. And yet, in an industry that has perpetuated racist practices for as long as it’s existed, she became a screen onto which people projected their fears and hopes.

A few years back we posted some clips and info about a somewhat mysterious project from Jennifer Elster that included a segment called "...In the Woods," and now finally things are coming together under the banner of The Being Experience, and we have a new trailer to share.

“Le Capital”, Greek-French filmmaker Costa Gavras’ latest work has a motley assortment of problems, bespeckled with intermittent charisma which proves insufficient to masque the utter ridiculousness that makes up large swathes of the film. It stars Gad Elmaleh (a dismal choice) as Marc Tourneuil, an uppity upper-middle class banker who incidentally rises to the top position of the bank he works for. While the old guard at the bank consider him more of a puppet placeholder that would be easily manipulated, Elmaleh’s character has other ideas: by ostensibly acquiescing to an American fund bent on taking over control of the bank, which includes orchestrating a 10% lay-off of the bank’s global workforce, Tourneuil starts on an ambitious course of consolidating his grip on power and earning himself tens of millions in legal and illegal bonuses.

The first Tiff premiere has been picked up ahead of its debut, as Cohen Media Group (Frozen River, The Lady, The Awakening) grabbed the latest political suspense thriller from the great Costa-Gavras. The man responsible for such classics as Z and Missing has returned after a few years with Capital, which takes a look at the high finance sector of France.

We’ve also found the first trailer, which indicates quite a thrilling take on a new sort of Robin Hood. Judging by this fast acquisition, it looks Costa-Gravas has replicated the same intense style found in some of his other work. Check out the trailer below for the film adapted from Stephane Osmont‘s novel and starring Gabriel Byrne, Gad Elmaleh, Natacha Regnier, Céline Sallette, Liya Kebede, Hyppolite Girardot, Daniel Mesguich and Bernard Le Coq.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be gracing the Cannes Red Carpet for the 11th consecutive year as the brand ambassador of L'Oreal Paris. She will be walking the red carpet of the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival on the 24th & 25th of May.

Jean-Jacques Annaud was making a film about oil wars in the desert. Then the Arab spring started, his crew were evacuated, and he had to explain why he had 300 guns

One day in 2010, over tea in Barcelona, Antonio Banderas took Jean-Jacques Annaud firmly by the wrist, looked deep into the French director's eyes and said: "I have always dreamed of playing an Arab. Let me be in your film." It's tempting to imagine Banderas saying these words in the same way he says "I am Puss – in boots!" in Shrek, before making his pupils dilate seductively. But it probably wasn't quite like that.

Annaud was scouring Europe and the Middle East to cast Black Gold, which tells the freighted and fruity story of two Arab kings who unsheath their ancestral scimitars in the 1930s and do battle over a strip of desert, under which some of the world's biggest oilfields have just been discovered.

Last night's amfAR gala in NYC brought out a roster of celebrities and models to toast the AIDS-fighting charity on the eve of Fashion Week. Fall 2012 Fashion Week begins today, but there were plenty of gorgeous gowns on display yesterday. Host Sarah Jessica Parker donned a pink Oscar de la Renta gown, which she paired with a leather motorcycle jacket and white gloves while posing for pictures. Leighton Meester broke from filming Gossip Girl to hit the carpet in Louis Vuitton, while other ladies like Julianne Moore, Cindy Crawford, and Elizabeth Hurley wore Roberto Cavalli. Some new details about the music for Jean-Jacques Annaud’s upcoming adventure movie Black Gold have surfaced today. As reported a few months ago, James Horner has written the score for the film. The music was recorded last month at Abbey Road Studios in London. The National is reporting that Quatari singer Fahad Al Kubaisi worked with Horner on the picture’s opening track, which is supposed to reflect the mood of the soldiers in the film as they prepare for war. He also recorded a traditional Bedouin song with Qatari composer Abdulla Al Mannai. Black Gold tells the story of the rivalry between two Emirs in Arabia in the 1930’s just as oil is being discovered.
