Drichiru 'Key' Kifuko is a Ugandan, Production Manager/Coordinator ( Film and TV drama, Performing artist, Event organizer, Actress, freelance Project Manager, Educator, Dance teacher, and Graphics designer.
She uses her talents and skills to empower and elevate both young girls and boys and adults within her community and around the world.
She comes with over 14 years of experience in organizing and managing events and projects and performing at events/concerts/festivals in Uganda, Kenya, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Italy, the USA, Austria, Switzerland, and Germany.
In Film, she works as a part-time Production Coordinator at Talking Film Production, a film production services company based in Kampala recognized for international motion picture and television productions across Africa. She also works as a Project Coordinator for I'll Tell You My Story, A 501c3 organization helping refugee girls reconnect and re-imagine their lives through writing, photography, and filmmaking as well as working as a Production Manager for Tadoba Pictures, a Film, TV & Theatre Props rental house servicing Uganda and East Africa.'
She is the founder of Collective Glow a Ugandan not-for-profit organization working to improve and empower communities through educational, creative, developmental, and fun programs. She runs She Is Hiphop an initiative under Collective Glow that aims to build girls and women through Hiphop. She is a member of Breakdance Project Uganda (BPU), a voluntary non-profit organization that uses hip hop, dance, and arts, as well as formal and non-formal education, for empowerment and social change.
In her career, Key has gotten collaboration invites from different dance groups, dance schools, companies, and arts organizations locally and internationally, where she has gained even more skills and experience in performing, teaching, and organizing events. She has been featured on CNN African Voices using her talent and skill to empower and inspire young people. This has expanded her fan base and network.
