Born in Los Angeles, California and raised in Portland, Oregon and
Phoenix, Arizona, Nicole Randall Johnson trained in the B.F.A.
Acting/Directing program at University of Arizona in Tucson.
Nicole later moved to Los Angeles where, after 3-years of sketch & improvisation training at the renowned Groundlings School & Theatre, she became a performer and writer for the Groundlings Sunday Company.
After a year of performing at the Groundlings, she became a series regular on the NBC/Bravo 1/2-hour comedy, Significant Others (2004). After the series ended, Nicole became a series regular and writer on FOX Television's Mad TV (1995), during it's 11th and 12th season. She became popular for such recurring characters as "Ka-son" and "Da-rell", who are both the center of several Mad TV (1995) sketches that, combined, have received more than 35-million hits on You Tube. Nicole's Mad TV (1995) celebrity impersonations include, Condoleezza Rice, Oprah Winfrey, Eddie Murphy, Queen Latifah, Chris Rock, Beyoncé, Randy Jackson, Tyra Banks, Chandra Wilson, Star Jones, Mo'Nique and Isabel Sanford.
Nicole has had supporting roles in several films and has been directed by Todd Phillips, Judd Apatow, Michael Bay, Curtis Hanson, Ken Kwapis and Bob Odenkirk. In November 2008, Nicole made her feature film starring debut opposite Paul Rudd and Seann William Scott in the David Wain-directed comedy, Role Models (2008), for Universal Pictures.
