Villains sometimes reveal their entire plan in a monologue, giving heroes a final chance to thwart them. Heroic movie characters survive dangerous situations, outsmart villains, and capitalize on distractions. Most villains could have succeeded if they remained silent and didn't underestimate the hero's cunning.
Villains in some well-known, even praised movies, have been known to give away their entire plan in a villainous monologue, allowing the hero one last chance to save the day. Most often, the villain reveals everything because they believe that they have won; the damage cannot be undone, or they are about to kill the hero, and it won't make any difference. They are just gloating about their victory to make it even worse for the hero. However, they might have been one of the movie villains who got away with their plan if they had remained silent.

A Brooklyn Nine-Nine backstory detail clarifies why Terry Jeffords supported season 1 minor character, Super-Dan. The police procedural sitcom comedy has a habit of providing beautiful character arcs and details within each role of the Nine-Nine to balance out the raucous humor and slapstick circumstances housed in the series. Sergeant Jeffords (Terry Crews) was afforded such elaboration throughout the show's run, and a peripheral season 1 storyline involving a rouge vigilante contributes to Terry's nearly seamless Brooklyn Nine-Nine development.
Among the evolution of Brooklyn Nine-Nine's cast of characters, Jeffords' character development is shown to be especially exceptional in season 1's "Full Boyle" episode where Terry supports the wannabe superhero Super-Dan (Nate Torrence) and his intentions to assist the precinct's looming drug investigation. At first, Super-Dan is rejected by both officers Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumero) and Rosa Diaz (Stephanie Beatriz) who dismiss him as a weird and wonky nuisance. However, Jeffords...

"The family you have… makes you rich." Disney+ has revealed a fun trailer for Zootopia+, a long-awaited animation mini-series coming to Disney+ this week. The first Zootopia movie by Disney Animation opened in 2016 and was a big hit for Disney, winning them an Oscar and plenty of love from audiences worldwide. However, they haven't been able to get a sequel together yet. Instead, this series will be the official follow-up. The series features six short-form segments set in the animal-filled Zootopia universe. The eps include an action parody starring Bonnie and Stu Hopps, a musical starring Duke Weaselton, a Real Housewives spoof with Fru-Fru, a film noir parody with Mr. Big, a dance competition segment with Clawhauser, Bogo, Gazelle, and a romantic comedy parody with Flash and Priscilla. Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde will also make a cameo. All of the cast members from the movie will reprise their roles: Idris Elba,...

Exclusive: Kill the Orange-Faced Bear starring Damon Wayans Jr. will not be going forward at TBS. The cast and crew were just told about the decision, which comes a week before the comedy series was scheduled to begin production on its 10-episode order in Vancouver. I hear the project, which has a filmed pilot, will be shopped to other outlets by the producers.
This marks the first major decision to kill a WarnerMedia entertainment project following the completion of Discovery’s acquisition. "What did you do the Nick the Reindeer, he didn't do anything to you?!" Safier Entertainment has revealed an official trailer for a holiday comedy called Christmas vs The Walters, arriving in theaters + on VOD starting this November. Yet another instantly forgettable holiday movie to ignore. Shawnee Smith stars as perfectionist expectant mother Diane Walters, who spends each year planning the ideal Christmas holiday. When her husband is taken out of town on business and her eccentric doctor confines her to bed rest, she races against the clock to craft another memorable celebration. As she strives to create the perfect holiday, her loving but dysfunctional family falls apart around her. The ensemble cast also includes Dean Winters, Caroline Aaron, Betsy Beutler, Paris Bravo, Nate Torrence, Richard Thomas, Jack McGee, with Bruce Dern and Chris Elliott. This just doesn't look like it has anything new to offer at all, unfortunately. Here's...

This year's Zootopia was quite the pleasant surprise. Yes, in the past eight years or so, with the involvement of John Lasseter, Disney has been upping their animated game tremendously. From films like Bolt and The Princess And The Frog to Wreck-it Ralph and Tangled, they've certainly managed to make an amazing comeback. With that in mind, I went into Zootopia with a certain expectation of quality: I expected great characters, a tight script, some funny jokes, a decent amount of heart, and beautiful animation.
The movie more than delivered on those expectations without breaking a sweat. But what I did not expect was for Zootopia to be a well-told social commentary that brings awareness to racial stereotyping. From the get-go, that's what the movie set itself up as, and as I got deeper and deeper into the runtime, it became all the more clear that this was a bona fide classic.

“I am just a dumb bunny, but, we are good at multiplying!”
When I reviewed Zootopia here at We Are Movie Geeks, I wrote”, the beautifully designed, brightly-hued Zootopia is breezier and bouncier than most. The animation work is dazzling, lovingly detailed without being overdone. I felt like I could reach out and pet these furry critters, especially in eye-popping 3D.” (read all of my review Here)
Now you can own Zootopia on Blu-ray thanks to Walt Disney Animation Studios!
Zootopia has broken records worldwide earning more than $900 million at the global box office to date. The best reviewed movie of 2016, critics and audiences around the world have fallen in love with the wonderfully innovative animal metropolis of Zootopia and the comedic chemistry of rookie rabbit officer Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) and scam-artist fox Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman). It’s been called one of the best buddy cop comedies in years!

Featuring a cracking voice cast, lush animation and an entertaining story at its heart, Zootopia not only proved to be one of this year’s early crowd-pleasers, it also soared close to $1 billion at the international box office.
That’s an impressive tally as is, but what really fired Byron Howard and Rich Moore’s animation into the history books was the fact that Zootopia stands as a successful movie, yes, but also an original one. In a report by Forbes, the outlet reveals that Howard and Moore’s adventure is now second only to James Cameron’s Avatar in Hollywood’s ranking of highest-grossing original movies; that is, feature films “not based on a television show, a comic book, a novel, or a stage play.”
This, coupled with the barnstorming success of Captain America: Civil War has ensured Disney’s box office haul for the year is nearing $4 billion in total.

This, coupled with the barnstorming success of Captain America: Civil War has ensured Disney’s box office haul for the year is nearing $4 billion in total.

Do you wanna build a snowman, Judy Hopps? Walt Disney Animation Studios' Zootopia is in theaters Friday, featuring the voice talents of Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Shakira, Idris Elba, Octavia Spencer, J.K. Simmons, Jenny Slate, Tommy Chong, Bonnie Hunt, Josh Dallas, Katie Lowes, Nate Torrence, Alan Tudyk, Mark "Rhino" Smith and other stars. Look closely and you'll see that two Frozen Easter eggs are hidden in Tundratown. (Don't see them? Keep looking...) Zootopia tells the story of Judy Hopps (Goodwin), the very first bunny on the police force. She (quite literally) jumps at the opportunity to crack her first case, even if it means teaming up with a sly fox like Nick Wilde...

One of the most interesting things about Walt Disney Feature Animation is the way it has evolved over the course of its history from Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs to today. There are such distinct eras in its development, such major shifts in creative energy, such giant peaks and valleys, that even the worst moments in its history are worth study for animation fans. I wish Disney would embrace their entire history and not just their hits, because there is so much to learn from films like Song Of The South or The Black Cauldron. Right now, though, they have hit a stride that is admirable, and Zootopia is another triumph for the current version of the studio following films like Tangled, Wreck-It Ralph, Frozen, and Big Hero 6. First and foremost, Zootopia is a reminder of just how beautiful animated films can be. Holy cow, this thing is almost hallucinatory.

Bridge of Sloths, Steve Paws, Mad Yax: Furry Road; In today’s latest round of parody posters for Zootopia, Disney’s anticipated animation presents this year’s Oscar contenders with a stylish twist.
Designed as a one-two punch to channel the excitement of this weekend’s 88th Academy Awards and, of course, the actual release of Byron Howard and Rich Moore’s feature on March 4, the gallery of images are a wonderful and timely riff on those films considered to represent cinema’s purple patch through 2015 and early 2016.
As for Zootopia, if the end product proves just as good as the House of Mouse’s marketing campaign, then we’re in for a treat. Centering on Ginnifer Goodwin’s Judy Hopps and Jason Bateman’s cunning scam artist Nick Wild, the animated romp is rooted in bright and colorful mammal metropolis completely devoid of humans.

Last night, the historic El Capitan theater held the red carpet premiere of Disney’S Zootopia, and the stars came out to celebrate!

The modern mammal metropolis of Zootopia is a city like no other. Comprised of habitat neighborhoods like ritzy Sahara Square and frigid Tundratown, it’s a melting pot where animals from every environment live together—a place where no matter what you are, from the biggest elephant to the smallest shrew, you can be anything. But when rookie Officer Judy Hopps (voice of Ginnifer Goodwin) arrives, she discovers that being the first bunny on a police force of big, tough animals isn’t so easy.

In little under a month’s time, Disney will invite moviegoers into an entirely new and modernised animal kingdom for Zootopia, and Byron Howard and Rich Moore’s feature is bursting at the seems with personality.
Case in point: Cheetah Officer Clawhauser, who reports for duty in one of two new clips today, while the second has Ginnifer Goodwin’s Judy Hopps tower over Little Rodentia.
As a matter of fact, Goodwin’s lawful bunny is one of the two core characters anchoring Disney’s animation, partnering with Jason Bateman’s cunning scam artist Nick Wild to prove her worth to the local precinct. Governed by Idris Elba’s no-nonsense Chief Bogo, the police force of Zootopia is comprised of animals of all shapes and sizes – elephants included – and it’s a cast we can hardly wait to learn more about in a few weeks’ time.

In the build up to its March debut, Disney Animation has been adopting a less-is-more approach with Byron Howard and Rich Moore’s Zootopia - a strategy exemplified by last month’s sloth-centric trailer lingering on a single scene to brilliant effect.
That’s not something you see too often, either, with movie trailers hailing from all genres often favoring a rat-a-tat pace that leaves the viewer teetering on the edge of sensory overload. But today, the House of Mouse continues to hit all the right notes in anticipation of Zootopia‘s arrival, with a new clip that features Idris Elba’s no-nonsense Chief Bogo addressing the literal elephant in the room.
Taking the odd-couple-solves-crime formula and situating it in a lush anthropomorphic kingdom, Disney’s new IP largely centers on the dynamic between Jason Bateman’s Nick Wild and Ginnifer Goodwin’s officer Judy Hopps. It’s the latter...

We've got a new trailer for Disney's latest animated adventure, Zootopia, for you to watch. It doesn't seem like there's a lot of hype building for the film, but I think it looks like it will be a lot of fun. This latest trailer gives us a much better sense of what the story will be and introduces us to a lot of new characters. The first trailer basically just showed us a clip of the film featuring the two main characters trying to obtain information from the Dmv, which was being run by a bunch of slow moving sloths.

In what will very likely wind up being our last trailer of 2015, Walt Disney Pictures has released a new, full-length teaser for the upcoming animated animal comedy adventure, Zootopia.
Byron Howard (Tangled) and Rich Moore (Wreck-It-Ralph) direct the House of Mouse’s latest sure-to-be-blockbuster, which features Arrested Development actor Jason Bateman as a fox named Nick Wilde who goes on the run after being framed for a crime he didn’t commit. Ginnifer Goodwin (Once Upon A Time) joins him as rabbit police Lt. Judy Hopps, who’s trying to prove that she has what it takes to be a real cop.

Wait, a Disney movie that doesn't involve "Star Wars," Marvel, Pixar, a sequel, or remake? Yes, original films still happen at the mouse house from time to time, and the latest is "Zootopia." From Star Wars: The Force Awakens to Jurassic World, Fifty Shades of Grey to Alex Garland’s really rather brilliant Ex Machina, the latest batch of posters for Disney’s Zootopia riff on some of the biggest blockbuster releases of 2015 – and the results are wonderful.
It’s fair to say that movie posters have become increasingly unremarkable, with seemingly every action movie adhering to the Marvel-esque knack for superimposing every core character onto a one-sheet. Outside of that, there’s the standard ‘back to camera’ hero shot, placing the main hero or heroine front and center for a brooding picture, so it’s little wonder why something like Fox’s marketing campaign for Deadpool attracts attention for flying in the face of convention.
For Zootopia, though, Disney is gunning to strike while the iron is hot with a slew of meme-worthy posters. And though they don’t necessarily reveal much...

Supernatural has crafted a universe where fairies attack and Dorothy of Oz exists, but this may be the show’s wackiest scenario yet: Sam’s childhood imaginary friend isn’t all that imaginary — and he needs the Winchesters’ help!

Disney has released the first full trailer for their upcoming animated adventure, Zootopia. I haven't seen a lot of hype surrounding this movie since it was first announced, but maybe this full-length trailer will change that. I've already seen some of this footage because they screened some stuff at D23 earlier this year, and I've enjoyed everything that I've seen from this movie so far. This is a great trailer that shows you some of the funny humor that the movie will include, and I really think Disney fans are going to get a kick out of it. The sloth character that you'll be introduced to in this trailer is freakin' hysterical. It's such a funny concept for a character.

Arriving on the furry heels of last week’s teaser poster is the first full-length trailer for Disney’s upcoming animation, Zootopia, offering our first look at the titular urban landscape in motion.
For those unfamiliar with the general set up of the film, Zootopia imagines a world completely devoid of humanity, allowing the animal kingdom to rise up and build their own mega-cities. From towering rhinos to the bouncing bunny rabbits, Disney’s anthropomorphic kingdom is simply thriving with life, though today’s clip introduces us to the more laid-back section of society.
Shedding light on the core dynamic between Jason Bateman’s Nick Wild and Ginnifer Goodwin’s officer Judy Hopps, the footage culminates in a segment that involves the pair engaging in a conversation – or at the very least trying to – with Dash, a sloth that is about as slow with admin duties as one would expect.

Check out the new trailer for Walt Disney Animation Studios’ 55th animated feature Zootopia.
The comedy-adventure is directed by Byron Howard (“Tangled,” “Bolt”) and Rich Moore (“Wreck-It Ralph,” “The Simpsons”) and co-directed by Jared Bush (“Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero”).
Determined to prove herself, she jumps at the opportunity to crack a case, even if it means partnering with a fast-talking, scam-artist fox,...

Welcome to "Zootopia," a mammal melting pot version of Manhattan, complete with its own niche neighborhoods, crime sprees, and the slowest possible creatures running the Dmv.
Disney just released a new trailer for the animated comedy, which hits theaters this spring. In the clip, we see gung-hu Officer Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin of "Once Upon a Time") reluctantly partnering with scam-artist fox Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman) to crack a tough case. The new preview actually includes a full sneak peek scene, sending Hopps and Wilde to the Dmv which is, of course, run by sloths.
Not. That. There. Is. Anything. Wrong. With. That.
Unless you're in a rush, of course. But you know you'd be at this Dmv every day -- Kristen Bell! The first "Zootopia" teaser came out in June, with Jason Bateman explaining that, in the world of this Zootopia, humans never happened. Throughout the years, the creative minds behind Supernatural have managed to find a way to believably include comedic elements within the framework of the series without jumping the shark, so to speak. The promo video for “Just My Imagination” shows that they look to continue this tradition. Fans of episodes such as “Tall Tales,” “Wishful Thinking,” and “Changing Channels” are well advised to set their DVRs for what could very well be an installment that we will be talking about for years to come.
In this episode, Sam’s childhood imaginary friend, Sully, manifests himself and can be seen by Dean as well. Not only that, but similar occurrences happen throughout town.
What could possibly be the cause of these bizarre happenings?
The answer likely lies with the director of this particular episode: Richard Speight, Jr. Longtime fans will recognize him as the actor who played The Trickster/ Loki/ Gabriel.

While it may not have topped the ever-growing list of must-see films in 2016, Disney fired Zootopia directly into the limelight only a few short weeks ago when the all-new animation welcomed aboard Luther star Idris Elba, Octavia Spencer and J.K. Simmons.
Now, with little over four months to go until release, the House of Mouse has today debuted a new poster for the film that sheds light on the core dynamic between Jason Bateman’s Nick Wild and Ginnifer Goodwin’s officer Judy Hopps. Eager to prove her worth in salt to the rest of the force, it is the latter anthropomorphic animal that takes point to crack a seemingly impossible case, though Hopps is forced to coordinate with Jason Bateman’s smart-mouthed schemer to do so.
