Nanda Anand hails from a traditional south Indian family. She studied
Psychology at Columbia University and Film and Video at New York
University. She is an exponent of classical Indian dance. She can read,
write and converse in 5 languages. Nanda's hobbies include painting and
poetry writing. _Rajapur (2005)_ is Nanda's first writing and Directorial
venture.
