Prime Video's superhero series Invincible is close to introducing one of the universe's most powerful beings: the brutal, super-strong Viltrumite known as Conquest, voiced by the one and only Jonathan Banks.

So far in Invincible, Mark Grayson has tested his powers against some formidable foes, from the mastermind Angstrom Levy to his own father, the Viltrumite powerhouse Omni-Man. “Invincible” is back for Season 3 and boasting the same stellar cast that made the first two so great.

Invincible is back with its much anticipated Season 3, and from what I have seen, it’s even better than before. The adult animated superhero series has always been brilliant and bombastic in its execution, but this season’s first six episodes left me more in love with these characters than ever.

Created by Robert Kirkman, the Prime Video superhero series was always good at giving us memorable villains that came in and out of the main storyline seamlessly without taking away from the larger series of events. Season 3 of Invincible also sees many past villains from Mark Grayson’s past returning to fight him once again. Still, because of the intelligent writing and brilliant character work, I never felt tired of these characters.

The first two seasons have built up a lot of momentum, and the third will plunge characters like Mark Grayson, aka Invincible (Steven Yuen), headlong into a violent conflict with the Viltrumites, a race of warmongering space aliens intent on conquering Earth. We're about to enter one of the darkest, densest periods of the comic, and at this point we can trust the show to bring it to us without compromise.

Prime Video released a bunch of new images from the upcoming season. Above is Powerplex, aka Scott Duvall, a new villain who has an axe to grind against both Invincible and his father Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons). The first season of Invincible concluded with an all-out brawl between father and son, with lots of bystanders killed in the process.

With less than one month to go until Invincible returns to Prime Video with its third season, some new stills and a first look at the villainous Powerplex have been released.

Mark Grayson's new blue suit is also put front and centre as is his younger brother Oliver (soon to be known as Kid Omni-Man). Atom Eve and Cecil Stedman can also be seen in action.

Yesterday, Prime Video debuted the official trailer for season three of the acclaimed animated hit “Invincible” during the streamer’s multi-title panel at Ccxp, Brazil’s massive fan and comic book convention in São Paulo. Voice cast members Sandra Oh, Gillian Jacobs, and co-creator, executive producer, and co-showrunner Robert Kirkman helped reveal the highly anticipated official trailer and gave a sneak peek into the upcoming season.

The action-packed first trailer for the third season of Prime Video's acclaimed adult animated series, Invincible, debuted during Ccxp last night, and has now been officially released online (via Toonado.com).

Like the recent poster, the trailer gives away quite a few major plot points including the fact that Mark Grayson and Cecil Steamman ultimately become enemies after some particularly shady dealings from the latter.

We also get a first look at Oliver Grayson suited-up as Kid-Omni-Man (The Mauler Twins probably shouldn't be taking this youngster quite so lightly), a brand-new villain known as Powerplex, Mark donning his new costume, and much more.

Based on Robert Kirkman’s comic book series, Invincible follows 17-year-old Mark Grayson, voiced by Steven Yeun, as he inherits his father’s superpowers and sets out to become Earth’s greatest defender, only to discover the job is more challenging than he could have ever imagined.

A few days ago, Prime Video released a new poster for the upcoming third season of Invincible, Prime Video's adaptation of Robert Kirkman's superhero comic. It featured main character Mark Grayson, aka Invincible (Steven Yeun), threatening a bloodied Cecil Stedman (Walton Goggins), the government bureucrat who works with Mark and other superheroes to defend Earth from extraterrestrial threats, and there's a big one on the way: the Viltrumites, from whom Mark descends, are a brutal empire that is spreading across the galaxy. They have their eyes set on Earth, and Mark is one of the only people equipped to stop them.

As we see in the new traile abover, he's training hard to make sure he's capable of doing that, but his relationship with Cecil, who's always willing to cross moral lines in the name of the greater good, is a sticking point. It looks like their relationship reaches a serious impasse.

The first trailer for the third season of acclaimed adult animated series, Invincible, is expected to debut during Ccxp at some point tomorrow, but Prime Video mistakenly shared it on the streaming site a little early.

The teaser was quickly taken down, but not before some audio and quite a few high-quality screenshots were posted online.

Like yesterday's poster, it looks like the trailer is going to give away quite a few major plot points, including the fact that Mark Grayson and Cecil Steamman ultimately become enemies after some particularly shady dealings from the latter.

None of this will come as a surprise to anyone who's read the comics, but just in case, here's a spoiler warning.
