Mumbai, Dec 10 (Ians) Bollywood actor and filmmaker Farhan Akhtar took a stroll down the memory lane and revisited the iconic location of Chapora Fort in Goa, after 23 years of shooting comedy drama ‘Dil Chahta Hai’.

The movie was the directorial debut of Farhan, and stars Aamir Khan (Akash), Saif Ali Khan (Sameer) and Akshaye Khanna (Sid) in the lead roles.

The title track of the movie sung by Shankar Mahadevan and Clinton Cerejo was shot at the Chapora Fort.

Taking to Instagram, Farhan shared a breathtaking picture, wherein we can see him posing against the sun, while sitting on a wall.

He is accompanied by director Shujaat Saudagar, who is known for directing ‘Rock On 2’, and ‘Bambai Meri Jaan’.

Shah Rukh Khan’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment brings an intriguing mystery thriller directed by Sujoy Ghosh, Badla. In itself, this would be plenty to get excited about but there is Taapsee Pannu, an actress very much on the rise in Bollywood, and just for good measure the king of revenge, Shehnshah himself, Amitabh Bachchan. Much fun has been had with little teaser trailers in this but not much has been spoken about the music. Shah Rukh has not spared the cash in this department though bringing in Amaal Malik, Anupam Roy and Clinton Cerejo to put together a 5-song soundtrack.

The album is book ended with Kyun Rabba. Both are written by Amaal Malik for Armaan Malik’s harmonious, soft tones to give the lyrics a gravitas. An acoustic guitar, violin and bass drum provide the backing to a song asking God for answers that don’t seem to come.

The former president is 68 today, and his family went on Twitter to wish him a special day.

As an early gift, his wife Hillary and actor Kevin Spacey spoofed House of Cards in a video that also served as a fundraising tool for the Clinton Foundation.

When Bollywood actresses come together for a film, they often spark rumours of catfights. But looks like the contemporary actresses are in a much secured place and they have been lending a helping hand to their co-actresses. Shruti Haasan, who is a popular actress down South and in Bollywood, has lend her voice for a romantic song in the upcoming film Tevar starring Sonakshi Sinha.

In the recent trend of many actresses turning singers for their films (Shraddha Kapoor, Alia Bhatt), Shruti Haasan, however, is not a part of the cast in the film but has only sung a song. The music directed Sajid-Wajid believe that Shruti has a fresh voice which suited the mood of the song and hence had decided to rope in the actress to sing. On the other hand, we hear that Sonakshi Sinha had no qualms over this decision and was rather happy about Shruti being a part of it.

One By Two is an upcoming romantic comedy which stars Abhay Deol and Preeti Desai in the leading roles. Directed by Devika Bhagat, the film is scheduled for release on 31 January and promises to be a fun-filled film that will appeal to the masses. The music has been composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, who have given us amazing albums such as Dil Chatha Hai (2001), Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003) and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011). The lyrics have been penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, who has written songs for popular films like Chennai Express (2013) and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013). Honouring the talent in Indian music and those who have created music with the power to touch millions of lives, the Global Indian Music Academy Awards has become a highly coveted award for the music makers and singers of Indian music, not only Hindi films but in all its forms. GiMA is the only music awards platform with a voting process based on peer-to-peer recognition. Nominees are selected by a Jury of over 30 eminent members from the music & film industry and later presented to the GiMA Academy for the final voting. The year in song in 2013 certainly was a treat for Hindi music fans. New Delhi, Aug 6: Get instant access to the third season of the "Coke Studio @MTV" Sony Music Entertainment has teamed up with MTV channel to release the music on the day of each episode.

The show that features Grammy Award winner A.R. Rahman, Amit Trivedi, Ram Sampath, Salim-Sulaiman, Clinton Cerejo, Hitesh Sonik and Papon, will go on air from Aug 17 on MTV. It consists of eight episodes.

The new season was launched by Sukhwinder Singh, lyricist Prasoon Joshi, Papon, Salim-Sulaiman, Ar Rahman, Clinton Cerejo, Hishesh Soni, and Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidhartha Malhotra.

With a promise of bringing together popular music producers and artists from different parts of the country, this season has A.R. Rahman, Salim Sulaiman and Ram Sampath making their debut in the show. Other artists include Amit Trivedi, Clinton Cerejo, Hitesh Sonik, and Papon.

Coming up on June 14th is the coming-of-age drama comedy Fukrey directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. The movie is a twisted and deliciously hilarious tale of four young, hapless ‘nobodies’ [‘Fukreys’], running after their individual desires, brought together by one dream. Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment the film features Pulkit Samrat, Manjot Singh, Ali Fazal, Varun Sharma, Priya Anand, Vishakha Singh, Pankaj Tripathi, and Richa Chadda. As with all Excel productions, music is an important part and for Fukrey they brought in the great Ram Sampath. The music album of director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba's "Fukrey" has six tracks. Simple and sweet, the tracks are high on fun and entertainment quotient.

In the film's title track, "Fuk fuk fukrey", debutant singer Amjad Bagadwa's voice sounds a little offbeat initially, but it gradually blends in well.

The music album of director Kannan Iyer's forthcoming movie "Ek Thi Daayan" is short and well-composed. Keeping up his reputation, music director Vishal Bhardwaj has given due importance to each and every song.

The album has five tracks and all of them have their own distinct ways of conveying a story. An interesting pack of songs, the album is quite entertaining.

"Yaaram", the first track, was initially released as a solo - and no wonder that decision was taken. The lyrics by Gulzar, crooned by Sunidhi Chauhan and Clinton Cerejo, weave.
