Ian Johnson founded IJPR in 2006 and has launched and handled publicity campaigns for TV series including The Crown, Killing Eve, His Dark Materials, Call The Midwife, Cold Feet, The Missing and films including Bloody Sunday. Clients include Bad Wolf, Big Talk, Euston Films, Hartswood Films, Left Bank Pictures, Neal Street Productions, New Pictures and Sid Gentle Films. IJPR has worked for and with Networks including BBC, Netflix, Sony, AMC, Showtime, Starz, Amazon, Hulu, Channel 4, ITV & UKTV. Ian's career began at Channel 4 in 1991 and was part of the press office team which launched Carlton Television in Jan 1993 until Dec 1995. From 1996 to 2001 he handled publicity for drama, comedy and entertainment shows at ITV made by Granada (Cold Feet); Granada Films (Bloody Sunday); LWT (Popstars, An Audience With The Spice Girls) and Yorkshire Television (Heartbeat) among others. From 2001 until 2004 he was Head of Publicity for drama, entertainment and film at the BBC, moving on to become Head of Special Projects for BBC Television Publicity (Africa Lives on the BBC / Live 8). In 2006 he left the BBC to set up Ian Johnson Publicity (now IJPR).
