Matt is adept at understanding any given situation quickly and sympathetically: He thinks fast and is versatile. This means he is able to cater for the wide range of subject matter in the Film & TV Industry. From being granted a minute with talent on a live TV set, finding the time (& place) to shoot portraiture on a feature film, to a full-on photographic studio set-up. The key is to manage time and people effectively; laying the foundations in order to produce striking imagery that is not only captivating but communicates a clear message.
Matt always shoot with at least two cameras (Canon & Sony) and can incorporate any number of fixed & remote camera's depending on the nature of the brief. If it's a more expansive shoot you need, the only limit is your budget!
After graduating from Norwich Art School in 1999- via a stint on the Cruise Ships and Alaska's inside passage- Matt moved to London and assisted. For over 4 ½ years he worked with some of the best fashion, portrait and advertising photographers, including Corrine Day & Terry O'Neil to name only a few.
In 2008 matt took the job of Staff Photographer for ITV where he created images that promoted some of the UK's most popular drama serials. It was here Matt honed his skills as an on-set photographer.
Matt has a complete studio lighting kit that he can bring to location, (available upon request) as well as a studio facility for hire in North London. Rates available upon request.
He also work with a team of retouchers so please ask for quotes.
