Filmmaker Marcus Nash's new horror thriller 'Lost Lake' arrives in the Us on both VOD and on iTunes from today the 26 October. The movies stars Ezra Buzzington ('The Hills Have Eyes'), Katie Keene, John Shartzer, Pat McNeely and Kimberly Stewart and promises a whole heap of supernatural scares along the way. After Dark adds 'Crazy', 'Dead' to Horrorfest
NEW YORK -- After Dark Films completed its demented Horrorfest lineup by acquiring all North American rights to the supernatural thriller Crazy Eights and the psycho killer flick Lake Dead.
James K. Jones' Crazy Eights, starring Frank Whaley and Traci Lords, follows six friends who reunite after two decades at a childhood friend's funeral. They dig up a time capsule and discover the remains of a child from their past. Jones, Dan DeLuca, John Kaila and Patrick Moses produced the project, which also stars Dina Meyer, Gabrielle Anwar, George Newbern and DeLuca.
George Bessudo's Dead follows three sisters who journey to their late grandfather's cabin in hopes of getting his inheritance. Unfortunately, a band of butchers has decided to sublet the place before they arrive. Edwin Craig, Pat McNeely and James C. Burns star in the film, which was produced by Todd Chamberlain, Hector Echavarria, Jason Hice and Mike Karkeh.
The Horrorfest "8 Films to Die For" lineup is rounded out by Borderland, The Deaths of Ian Stone, Mulberry Street, Nightmare Man, Tooth and Nail and Unearthed. The features hit more than 300 screens nationwide from Nov.
