During his 15+ year career, Quentin Boniface has gained a unique experience with music for film & TV productions.
Quentin took his first step into the music business in the mid 2000s, right after graduating from ESSEC Business School & Sciences Po (Paris) when he joined the A&R department of the French label Naive.
After working with the animation studio Alphanim where he implemented a music publishing strategy, Quentin joined the oldest film studio in the world, Gaumont, in 2008. There, he founded and led the in-house music department for the next 10 years, managing all things music for the major French studio. His time there was spent in both France and Los Angeles, and ranged from music supervision to music publishing administration & label activities. Whilst at Gaumont, Quentin worked on over 50 projects, including international productions (Narcos, Hannibal, The Neon Demon), French feature films (Intouchables), TV series (Nox) and animation (Leap!, Calimero).
In 2018, he set up an agency for film & TV music composers called Grande Ourse representing major French talents including the IFMCA & WSA nominee Mathieu Lamboley (Lupin, Minuscule 2), two Cesar-awarded composers -Rebotini & Rone- and the LA-based composer Guillaume Roussel (Disney's Black Beauty, Trois Mousquetaires).
In 2020, he launched 440Hz, a company offering music services for Film & TV producers: music supervision (incl. Mama K's team 4), music production (incl. Lupin), music publishing administration (over 50 clients) and label activities (with over 20 releases per year).
Quentin joined Netflix in 2022 taking on a new role as Director, Music Creative & Production EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa).
