Robert Lee Hardy was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. Hardy is graduate of SUNY Purchase, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting. His recent stage credits include Flyin' West, The Snowy Day, This Is Modern Art, and Home. Hardy's film credits include Jazz in the Diamond District, Jamesy Boy and HBO's The Wire.
Hardy has conducted workshops for the Baltimore Juvenile Justice System, as well as drug addiction programs. He has performed for and enlightened inmates at the Maryland and Jessup Correctional Institutes. From 2002 to 2007 he taught acting at the Eubie Blake National Jazz Institute and Cultural Center. Robert has written and performed two one man shows "Me, Myself and Us" and "I Carry My Own Spotlight".
