- In the final of the 2011 World Cup, Dhoni scored 91 not out off 79 balls handing India the victory for which he was awarded the Man of the Match.

The film was in making in 2010, however due to indefinite delays in making along with Abraham who suffered ankle injury resulted in shelving the film.

Prior, Arjuna Ranatunga of Sri Lanka(against Australia) at Lahore and Darren Lehman of Australia(against Pakistan) at Lord's were southpaws who hit the winning runs at the 1996 and 1999 edition's finals respectively.
