Julianna Gelinas Bonifacio is an award-winning producer, screenwriter, director, and actor. She marked her directorial debut with "Little Orange Flags" after her script for the film won Best Short Screenplay at the 2021 BlueCat Screenplay Competition. Julianna has produced and written feature films, short films, music videos, and branded content. Feature films include "The Quitter", which Julianna produced and acted in the leading role. It was critically acclaimed by the The New York Times, theatrically released, aired on PBS, and streamed on Hulu/Amazon Prime/Tubi. Her short film "Master Maggie" marked her 4th film world premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival. It won Best Short Film at the American Pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival, among others, and qualified for the Academy Awards. Julianna lives in Brooklyn with her husband and producing partner, director/writer/producer Matthew Bonifacio.
