Milanka Brooks was born in Regent's Park, London, England to Mileva Brooks, a model, and Harry Brooks Jr., an actor and writer.
She is best recognized for her 2018 role as Elena Tulaska in Black Mirror (2011)'s multi-Emmy Award winning episode, USS Callister (2017), on Netflix, opposite Jesse Plemons, Cristin Milioti, and Jimmi Simpson, amongst others.
Milanka is also recognised for her series regular role in Series 7 & 8 of ITV's Benidorm (2007), playing Johnny Vegas' fiancée, Ionela.
She graduated The Drama Centre London, part of Central Saint Martins, and was immediately cast in multi award-winning BBC1 sitcom My Family (2000), opposite Zoë Wanamaker and Robert Lindsay. She then filmed on Joanna Lumley's Little Crackers (2010) with Tiger Aspect Productions for Sky1.
Milanka then went on to play guest lead and Nigel Planer's wife Elena, in the comedy, Boomers (2014) on BBC2.
In 2018 Milanka was also in Mandie Fletcher's feature film Patrick the Pug (2018), released theatrically by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
In 2019 Milanka played the role of Stasia in Hulu's Four Weddings and a Funeral (2019), created by Mindy Kaling and Matt Warburton. She also performed opposite Sheridan Smith in the ITV drama, Cleaning Up (2019), and in 2020 she will be playing the role of Princess Svetlana of Sweden in Channel 4's hit comedy series The Windsors (2016).
