Born Francisco Wise De Arriba Molina in Panama City, Panama; Francisco
De Arriba came to New York City in the winter of 1984. He lived in
Thompson street, Soho from 1989 to 1995. While living in Thompson
street De Arriba studied Acting, Directing, Play Writing and Producing with Salem Ludwig at the HB Studio in the west village (NYC) where he wrote his first
screenplay "Beto! The Bad Boy of Thompson street". De Arriba continued
studying at the School of Visual Arts (NYC) where He learned filmmaking
and became the The Starring, Director, Writer and Producer of his own
first feature film "Beto! The Bad Boy of Tompson Street". Then one
night De Arriba was introduced to Independent Filmmaker "Abel Ferrara"
at the late restaurant"Marylou's" (NYC) who has been his mentor since.
