- Chip Perro was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is the son of Rick Perro and Deborah Perro. A family move brought him to Massachusetts between years in middle school. Chip participated in drama and speech in high school, qualifying for Nationals in speech three years in a row. He graduated from Natick High School in 2002. Chip founded his production company, F.R. Perro Inc. while in college, and produced his first feature film, Remedial Attraction, before the start of his senior year. In 2006, Chip graduated from Harvard University through the Extension School.
A martial artist since the age of six, Chip holds a second degree black belt ranking with the Japanese Karate Association, and enjoys both choreographing and performing in his films.
Chip wrote and directed the action/drama series High Heel Samurai, an early web-television series debuting in 2007. In 2010, Chip wrote and directed Mission Park, a stylized superhero film.
