After moving to LA, Jason became a successful on-set acting coach. For the past 10 years, Jason has worked on television shows and movies for Netflix, Amazon, Disney, Nickelodeon, and AwesomenessTV. His spare time on set was dedicated to the study of every aspect of film-making, shadowing directors from pre to post-production. Jason is requested often by actors for his collaborative, performance-friendly approach. He is hired for his ability to quickly draw out nuanced, grounded performances, especially from young actors. His youth work stems, in part, from his time as a director with the Creative Arts Team, the country's largest professional youth theater. And his facility with comedy stems from a background in Improvisation. He has taught classes in "directing the actor for comedy" as an associate professor at both NYU and USC.
