She is a native of Boston, Massachusetts who has lived in New Orleans
since graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Film from Emerson College.
Emerson College's film program is nationally renowned and she received
credit for a double major in both film and television production with
two minors: writing and photography. After Hurricane Katrina, she lived
and worked in both Los Angeles and Austin, Texas before returning to
her chosen home of New Orleans.
