Vincent Cortez(II)

Vincent Cortez is an Oakland, California born and raised filmmaker. At an early age, Vincent was immersed and captivated by art and story telling. When he was nine, his uncle Raul gave him his first hand-me-down camera and the floodgates were opened. Vincent made short films with his older brother, their large family and close friends. As the years passed Vincent grew more skilled, passionate and devoted to the film craft. He attended SFSU were he received a BA in Cinema. Besides writing and directing, Vincent is also a cinematographer, editor, illustrator and musician. Vincent resides in Oakland with his wife and producer, Sofia L Cortez and their daughter.
