Christina Angela Villa was born and raised in El Paso, Texas the daughter of Eduardo Villa and Angela Mier. Her father is of Mexican ancestry and her mother is of Northwestern-European decent. Christina was raised in a predominantly Mexican-American household and is one of 9 siblings in a blended family. She received a B.S. in Communication from the University of Texas at Austin, and after taking her first acting class at The State Theatre School of Acting while living in Austin, decided to pursue a career in theatre and film. In 2017 she earned an MFA from the Actors Studio Drama School in New York City, and has since played strong women in both American classics and bilingual stories about the Latine community. In 2024 she starred opposite Dolph Lundgren and Kelsey Grammer in the international action thriller Wanted Man. She went on to play the supporting role of Anna Cardenas in The Wedding in the Hamptons and Veronique in the feature film Spark that made its U.S. debut at The Dances with Films Festival in the summer of 2024.
