Apparently self-deprecating is the new sexy!

Anderson Cooper, he of the distinguished snow-white hair, tells People he sees himself as more “super-pale” salamander than silver fox.

Is Toni Topaz a friend or foe?!
That's the question on every Riverdale fan's mind tonight after watching this week's all-new episode, "Chapter 17: The Town That Dreaded Sundown," when Toni showed off her surprisingly vicious side to Jughead, Betty and Kevin during their crack-the-code study session.
After trying to spend some extra alone time with Jughead outside of the Red and Black, and throwing a particularly pointed jab at Betty's ponytail, (Gasp, not the "iconic" ponytail!) Toni unleashed a verbal avalanche about the "fake news" out there that demonizes the Southside Serpents.
"Oh, yeah?" Toni sneered when Betty claimed that she doesn’t hate the Serpents. "Then why is it that your boyfriend here lies about the fact that he sits with us at lunch?" Whoa, girl!
Ok, Toni -- we see you trying to slither your way in between Betty and Jughead's relationship! To find out what Toni's true intentions really are, we caught up with...

Twin Peaks Recap is a weekly column by Keith Uhlich covering David Lynch and Mark Frost's limited, 18-episode continuation of the Twin Peaks television series. What's an FBI Special Agent to do after being locked away for 25 years in unearthly purgatory? Episodes three and four of Mark Frost and David Lynch's revived Twin Peaks, which aired on Showtime this past Sunday in a two-hour block (aside from September's two-part finale, it's all single, hour-long episodes from hereon out), follow our besuited, Black Lodge-incarcerated hero Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan) as he reintegrates into modern terrestrial society. So this is basically Peaks doing Rectify, just with a sterile death row replaced by an infernal hellscape out of Clive Barker. Or David Lynch, really. What's becoming more and more evident as the new Peaks progresses is that the series is, in large part, a repository for Lynch's subconscious, past and present.

As its planned Big Bang Theory spinoff begins to fall into place, it’s been revealed that CBS has already cast a young actor to play the 12-year-old Sheldon Cooper.
That’s according to Jim Parsons himself, who confirmed as much to Entertainment Tonight at last night’s 2017 Screen Actors Guild Awards. Parsons stopped short of revealing the identity of said youngster, but we understand he’ll be headlining a series that is “very different” to The Big Bang Theory. Entitled Sheldon, much of the spinoff will chronicle his unusual upbringing in Galveston, Texas and, ultimately, how he became the snarky, razor-sharp theoretical physicist fans know and love.
Parsons, who has played Cooper for a whopping ten years, then went on to tell Et that although CBS brass and the show’s producer Steve Molaro spent time sifting through scores of auditions, the final choice is someone he believes to be “really special.

The Big Bang Theory may well become the textbook example of a slow-burner in the modern TV landscape. When Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady’s science-heavy sitcom premiered almost a decade ago, CBS’ newfound drama was hampered by mixed reviews, and it wasn’t until the show’s sophomore run that The Big Bang Theory started to reverse its fortunes.
Following its tenth year on the airwaves, Lorre and Prady’s brainy sitcom remains one of the most successful shows in the medium, and it’s small wonder why Warner Bros. TV and CBS issued the go-ahead for a spinoff series back in November, one designed to focus on the inimitable theoretical physicist known as Sheldon Cooper. Now in active development, it’s understood the planned offshoot will focus on a 12-year-old Sheldon who spends his youth growing up in Galveston, Texas. Round 2 of the presidential debates between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton offered plenty of fireworks — and moderators Martha Raddatz and Anderson Cooper got caught in the crossfire.
As the Republican and Democratic nominees traded vicious barbs, Raddatz and Cooper tried to maintain order, telling the rowdy audience several times to settle down and interrupting each candidate to move on. But Trump clearly felt like he was being ganged up on; he even muttered under his breath that this debate felt like it was “one-on-three.”

Joan Rivers, the raucous, acid-tongued comedian who crashed the male-dominated realm of late-night talk shows and turned Hollywood red carpets into danger zones for badly dressed celebrities, died Thursday. She was 81.
Rivers died at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, surrounded by family and close friends, daughter Melissa Rivers said. She was hospitalized Aug. 28 after going into cardiac arrest in a doctor's office following a routine procedure. The New York state health department is investigating the circumstances.
"My mother's greatest joy in life was to make people laugh," Melissa Rivers said. "Although that is difficult to do right now, I know her final wish would be that we return to laughing soon."
Under the immobile, plastic surgery-crafted veneer that became Joan Rivers' unapologetic trademark as she aged, her wit remained as vibrantly raw and unruly as when she first broke her way into a comedy world belonging largely to men.

There’s a moment in the excellent documentary, Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work, that has nothing to do with show business. Joan and her grandson Cooper are riding in the backseat of her town car on Thanksgiving morning, delivering a hot meal to a homebound woman with multiple sclerosis. Cooper tells his grandmother that he got his video-game console from a classmate who had three PSPs and gave him one. “Does he have a single grandfather?” Rivers jokes to the camera. In the small, warm silence that follows, Joan picks up her grandson’s hand and squeezes it. “I love your hands,” she tells him. “They’re good hands.” Cooper reaches over with his other hand and squeezes back. Joan soars. It never once occurred to me that Joan Rivers could die. Like everyone else, I can’t remember a time in which she wasn’t around. Joan has...

In what might be the craziest pairing on "Celebrity Wife Swap" yet, Joan and Melissa Rivers are pairing up with Bristol and Willow Palin to have Melissa and Bristol swap lives for a week.
The dichotomy is set up right off the bat, with the Rivers household looking composed and a little fancy, with Joan's sit-down dinners every night and their fashion plate wardrobes. Whereas the Palins are much more down 'n dirty (even though they live in some pretty swanky digs in Alaska) and son Tripp is much rowdier than Rivers' son Cooper -- though Cooper is 12 and Tripp is four, so.
Bristol is definitely more out of her comfort zone than Melissa because while Melissa is dealing with housework, an unruly four-year-old and moose meat, Bristol is at a dinner party full of Joan and Melissa Rivers' friends and while they aren't "attacking" her exactly the way she acts like they are,...

"Celebrity Wife Swap" has outdone itself this summer. When the series returns on Sunday, June 23, audiences will get a double swap: Bristol Palin and her sister, Willow -- the daughters of politician Sarah Palin -- will trade places with Joan and Melissa Rivers.
The results may be explosive.
For the episode, Melissa Rivers will head to Wasilla, Alaska to spend a week living with Willow Palin and Bristol's four-year-old son, Tripp. Bristol Palin, meanwhile, will head to Los Angeles for a week with Joan and Melissa's 12-year-old- son, Cooper. Two very different lifestyles will be on display for the show.
At the Palin household, it seems that Tripp is in charge. Melissa will have to deal not only with snow (not a big thing in La) but also with Tripp's energy and lack of discipline. Willow isn't likely to be much help with this as she is more often Tripp's co-conspirator.

At the Palin household, it seems that Tripp is in charge. Melissa will have to deal not only with snow (not a big thing in La) but also with Tripp's energy and lack of discipline. Willow isn't likely to be much help with this as she is more often Tripp's co-conspirator.
