Jonathan Leaders is an experienced Software Architect and technology enthusiast based out of Los Angeles, California. In 2020 he served as the Lead Graphics Engineer for Deviation Games, a next-gen gaming studio, as well as a founder of a tech startup in the business logistics & telecom space where Jonathan led building the technology backbone to scale a business from a small man team to a leading industry player with $1m/mo gross revenue, processing completed jobs every 20 seconds. He is a technical writer with a cumulative 5.6 million users helped via technical writings across the internet, primarily as a global top 6% writer on StackOverflow. He was previously employed as a Global Technical Director at DreamWorks Animation SKG where he was a team member in 41 awards, 213 nominations including prestigious Oscars, Annies, & Golden Globes.
He served as a Research and Development Engineer for the blockbuster film Madagascar 3: Europes Most Wanted and the film Turbo (2013). He worked as a Technical Director for Annie-nominated Megamind, the Oscar-nominated film, Puss in Boots, and The Croods (2013).
Jonathan started programming at the age of 9 in BASIC, and now knows over fifteen programming languages. At the age of 14 he started a business selling video games he had made from scratch, and went on to complete graduate school by the age of 20. He continued his passion for building games as a senior programmer on the Xbox 360 Live Arcade game Roogoo, as well as the retail Nintendo Wii game Roogoo: Twisted Towers.
In high school, he built high-security database applications with a team at a leading global linguistics research organization. Outside of working on various projects as a freelance software developer, Jonathan has been a tech consultant for an international non-profit, an airline, and several businesses in Washington D.C., Dallas, Houston, New York, and Los Angeles, as well as working remotely from 20 different countries.
He was featured in Casual Connect magazine in an article on innovation. He is a published photographer, entrepreneur, guest teacher, and a speaker for personal growth and freedom. He has a passion for spirituality, technology, robotics, media, and education.
