A science fiction action horror franchise centered on human interaction with a highly intelligent extraterrestrial race that loves to hunt. Produced by 20th Century Studios, the studio has been wanting to expand the franchise.

However, fans are not sure about a female-led Predator movie seeing the box office disaster that Anya Taylor-Joy-led Furiosa has turned out to be despite brilliant critical reviews.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's 2022 defamation trial has gotten the documentary treatment from Netflix. The streamer's docuseries "Depp v. Heard," which premieres on Aug. 16, revisits the highly publicized case as it played out inside a Virginia courtroom and online for millions of viewers. The documentary not only highlights the events that led up to the defamation trial, it also showcases Depp and Heard's testimonies side by side for the first time.

Back in June 2022, a seven-person jury in Virginia's Fairfax County Circuit Court found Heard liable for three counts of defamation toward Depp and Depp liable for one count of defamation toward Heard, Time confirmed. The jury awarded Depp $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages, and $2 million in compensatory damages to Heard.

The Tennis Podcast will be streamed Live from Wimbledon each night throughout The Championships in an exciting new partnership with the All England Club.

For the first time, the podcast, which is produced daily at all four Grand Slam tournaments, and weekly year-round by Catherine Whitaker, David Law and Matt Roberts, will also be available to watch live on The Tennis Podcast’s YouTube channel from the Wimbledon Grounds each night.

The premium cabler has officially ordered up Outlander Season 7, which will consist of 12 episodes and will be based on Diana Gabaldon's novel An Echo in the Bone.

“Outlander” and “For All Mankind” executive producer Ronald D. Moore has left his longtime home Sony Pictures Television for a multiyear overall deal at Disney’s 20th Television, an individual with knowledge of the agreement tells TheWrap.

Under the pact, Syfy’s “Battlestar Galactica” mastermind will create and develop new projects for 20th Television and Disney’s multiple platforms through his Tall Ship Productions banner, with the first being the previously announced “Swiss Family Robinson” TV series at Disney+, which he is partnering on with “Crazy Rich Asians” director Jon M. Chu.

Moore will continue on in his role as executive producer on both Starz’ “Outlander” and Apple TV+’s “For All Mankind,” which are Sony-produced shows.

The Edinburgh International Film Festival (Eiff) has launched its full programme with 18 world premieres, 12 international premieres, eight European premieres and 78 UK premieres for its 73rd edition of the festival (June 19-30).

Jamie Adams’ Balance, Not Symmetry, a drama about a Glasgow art student, which has a soundtrack written by Scottish rock band Biffy Clyro, will have its world premiere as the People’s Gala screening at the event. It stars Laura Harrier, Bria Vinaite and Lily Newmark. Biffy Cyro lead singer Simon Neil co-wrote the screenplay with Welsh writer-director Adams.
