Jamye Cox was born in Beeville, Texas. She is the oldest daughter of
Jaime Ganceres and Delores Ganceres. Until the age of twelve, Jamye
lived in Seguin, Texas. Once she entered seventh grade, her family
relocated to Refugio, Texas. She was a very gifted student, finishing
first in her graduating class and senior class president. Her passion
for acting was expressed in various One Act Plays done through the
local high school. Once Jamye graduated, she attended Texas State
University and attained a Masters of Business Administration (MBA). It
wasn't until her late twenties that she reignited her passion for
acting. She appeared in various commercials prior to her breakthrough
short indie film in San Antonio, "Love After". Her performance in this
short film awarded her the Best Actress awards at the annual San
Antonio 48hr film experience. Jamye continues to act theatrically and
commercially in San Antonio, Texas. She also produces two hashtag based
kid's web shows, goodjobtexasjr and sateenscene.
