A native of Suffolk, England, Osborne was always fascinated by all aspects of visual imagery. He earned his degree in Professional Video from the University of Gloucestershire where he fell in love with the artistic and technical elements of grading and he has pursued that passion ever since.
Matt Osborne joined Company 3 following a very successful tenure at The Mill (in Los Angeles, Chicago, and London). An artist of unique vision, Osborne has been in high demand for a wide variety of long- and short-form work, most recently completing Quibi's series, Wireless from executive producer Steven Soderbergh and feature film, The Wolf of Snow Hollow, starring and directed by Jim Cummings (Thunder Road). He has graded major music videos for top-level acts including Katy Perry, Drake, Pharrell Williams, and Kanye West. He has also worked on major commercial campaigns for major brands such as Intel, Audi, EA, and Adidas and collaborated with A-list directors including Darren Aronofsky, Theodore Melfi and Warren Fu. In addition, Osborne is quite proud of his work on creative title sequences, such as the highly-praised open for HBO's True Detective, Season 3. Prior to his tenure at The Mill, he learned the art and technique of color grading from some of the leading artists at MPC in London, where his career began.
