Bob Terry is a director, actor and sought after TV personality. He is a director for Red Steagall Is Somewhere West of Wall Street as well as The Old West, Lost Treasures of the Old West just to name a few. He is an Old West and Western Film Historian, hosting several television shows including "The Forsaken Westerns", "Western Theater", "Cowboy Cliffhangers" and "Tales From Tombstone". Because of his knowledge of the American west and western films, he is also called upon to appear as a guest on other TV shows, among these is the Carley Twisselman TV series "This Old Horse".
Bob along with his wife Johnie starred in and hosted the Ride TV Christmas Special "A Cowboy Christmas with Bob Terry". Additionally he is a talented performer, writing and performing Western Music with his music video "Western Music Cowboy Song My Pony and Me the Terry Family" having received well over six million views online.
Bob is CEO of Wild West Toys. An American Toy Manufacturing company featured in episodes of the "Texas Country Reporter" and "How It's Made" television shows. Bob is founder and President of Westerns On The Web Productions, providing thousands of hours of classic western films for free online viewing and producing original online western entertainment, such as the classic style western series "Sundown" and the mystery series "Lost Treasures of the Old West".
In 2017 Bob and his wife Johnie began producing "The Forsaken Westerns" A western TV series dedicated to rescuing and broadcasting rare unsold western TV show pilots, anthology series western episodes and western series episodes that have been neglected for years, left to fade into obscurity, some of which have never transferred to a digital format until now.
Bob grew up living and working on several small ranches in Texas, Arkansas, Kansas and even British Columbia and is very dedicated to preserving the legacy of the American West and Classic American Western Films and the values these films project. With thousands of western films in his collection Bob provides TV networks and other venues with western movies and television show episodes.
Bob and his wife Johnie live on several acres in north Texas in the Log Home they built. They have been married since 1988 and have 3 children. They spend time together working together, playing music at Churches and Western Gatherings. Their hobbies include collecting Old West Antiques.
