Bane Fakih is a Lebanese filmmaker. She wrote and directed "Assil and Jad" which won best short film at the European Film Festival in Beirut, as well as "Vibes" which toured international festivals and was nominated for best short in several LGBTQ+ festivals. After completing her film MFA at Columbia University with distinction she wrote and directed "Motherland", a short among four other short films forming the anthology "Disorder" which won the Audience Award at Al-Gouna film festival. She was a script consultant on "Joyland" by Saim Sadiq which won Un certain Regard at Cannes. She wrote "Al Rehla, Ibn Jubayr" which is in preproduction. She is writing Dania Bdeir's feature film "Pigeon Wars", and an autobiographical series called "Where I begin".
