Bruce Herbelin-Earle was born in London, England to French/English parents and grew up in a town called East Grinstead, located in West Sussex.
He was cast in his first major role during the summer in which he graduated sixth-form and starred in 2017-2019's Netflix Original Series "Free Rein", as the role of 'Marcus Greenbridge'. The show was an instant hit and garnered major awards including two Emmy's.
Bruce continued to work in British T.V. picking up roles in the BBC's hospital drama "Casualty" and Channel 5's "15 Days" the latter of which also starred his Free Rein co-star Freddy Carter. Bruce described the experience as "Great to film and a very different vibe from my days on Free Rein"
In 2020 he stepped into his first French-speaking role and also undertook his first writing credit in the Amazon Prime anthology series "A Series of Light: Limelight", a story about an aspiring actor who goes to extreme lengths in the audition room to get the role he's desperate for.
In 2022, Bruce received a call from Hollywood Director/Actor George Clooney and was asked if he was ready and fit enough to play 'Shorty Hunt', an American rower from 1930's era Seattle, who was part of the legendary crew from the University of Washington that helped bring the U.S.A a gold medal in the men's 8 during the 1936 Berlin Olympics. He much obliged. Clooney's 2023 Amazon/MGM Studios' feature film - "The Boys in the Boat", is a true-to-life adaptation by best-selling author Daniel James Brown and writer Mark L. Smith, which also starred Callum Turner and Joel Edgerton.
