Holly Shervey is an actress and writer from Te Wai Pounamu, New Zealand. She has appeared in numerous prime-time local and international screen productions and created over 100 episodes of her own award-winning shows.
Holly's on-screen highlights feature roles in; Apple TV's creature horror The Tank, Amazon Prime's American Playboy: The Hugh Hefner Story, the award-winning drama Head High, and TV Three's comedy-drama Double Parked. Recently, Holly played an episodic lead role in the murder mystery series The Brokenwood Mysteries and guest appearances in TVNZ's drama Ahikaroa and TV Three's comedy Vince.
Holly's dark comedy television series with the working title, Crackhead, produced in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery and Warner Bros. New Zealand, has recently received the green light. The show follows Frankie (portrayed by Holly), a drug-addicted party animal, as she navigates the challenges of rehab. Filming is scheduled to begin in 2025.
As a writer, Holly is developing several projects, including two television series: a psychological thriller spanning New Zealand and Canada, and a broadcast-length adaptation of her single-camera comedy series, Millennial Jenny.
