Tim Haines is an Internet blogger best known by his alias Blackcatloner. He was born February 12, 1978 in Rhinebeck, New York and originally hails from Red Hook, New York. He is a 1997 graduate of Red Hook High School and also attended Herkimer County Community College in Herkimer, New York where he majored in Communication Arts New Media. He originally started his Internet career with written blogs on the website Yahoo 360 and also ran a blog site devoted to the historic Chester Gillette murder case before starting his official site in 2007. The following year, he began his career as a vlogger under his username Blackcatloner.
In 2013, after deciding to take his videos in a new direction, Haines decided to do a movie review series called Blackcatloner Reviews. Also that same year he started Blackcat Riffs, where he riffs on public domain educational movies. Then in 2015, he officially started Blackcatloner where he vlogs about whatever he felt like.
He is single and lives in Herkimer, New York.
