Robert J. Sherman stems from a long line of songwriters spanning over more than four generations. At 16 Sherman joined BMI and is an alum of BMI's Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop. Theatre: Love Birds (Pleasance, Edinburgh), A Spoonful of Sherman (Live at Zédel, St. James Theatre), Bumblescratch (Adelphi Theatre) and A Christmas Held Captive (Beverly Hills Playhouse). Film: Amazon Jack (Columbia TriStar) and Magic 7 (Pulse). Notable Songs: "Disneyana!", "Mondays". Sherman is CEO/President of Music World LLC and MusicWorld UK and is trustee of the Robert B. Sherman Family Estate which includes one half of the Sherman Brothers and Al Sherman estates. Sherman is a Celebrity Ambassador of Variety (UK) and in 2017 was made a member of the Grand Order of Water Rats theatrical fraternity. He resides in London, England.
