Michiel Dhont

Michiel Dhont graduated from the KASK School Of Arts in 2017. During his studies in Ghent, he went to work as a production assistant and coordinator on several Belgian films including Girl (2018) directed by Lukas Dhont. After several years of experience, he debuted as a producer with Close (2022), the second feature film directed by his brother, Lukas, which won the 'Grand Prix' in the Official Competition at the 75th Cannes Film Festival. The film was also nominated for a Golden Globe for 'Best Motion Picture Non-English Language', 'Best Foreign Film' at the César Awards and finished it's festival run with a nomination in the 'International Feature Film' category at the 95th Academy Awards in 2023.
