- Editor
He is a French Canadian, born in the small northern Quebec town of Chibougamau. At the age of 11 his dream was to be a movie director so he started to record his own short movies with an old borrowed VHS Camera. At 15, he bought his first camera, and at 18 he bought a professional HVX200 with his savings. Because he was the only filmmaker in his home town, he taught himself to make in-camera edits, graphics and VFX, creating a web series, one full length movie, and more than 50 amateur videos and short movies. After graduating from ?? in Montreal, Michael had a variety of film jobs including matte painter, colorist, and motion designer. He worked as an assistant editor for Felix and Paul Studio (Virtual Reality) where he built their editorial workflow. This work inspired him to become a VFX Editor. Today he is working full time at Cinesite Studios as a Senior VFX Editor.
