Laura Malatos

Laura Malatos is a writer-director based in Los Angeles, CA. Her directing work spans short films, music videos, and web series, with a highlight on dark comedy and bringing strong queer and female-centered narratives to the screen. Her work has been screened at prominent film festivals both regionally and internationally, as well as featured on CMT and in Rolling Stone Magazine. Her most recent milestones include the Black List x WIF Episodic Lab, the year-long WIF Fellowship, and her proof-of-concept pilot DOOMED securing a TV broadcast premiere on UK's KMTV, Sheffield Live!, and NVTV. She is also a USC alumnus with a BFA in Film & TV Production.
