Mayor of Kingstown has added three big names to its cast for its fourth season. According to Deadline, Edie Falco, Lennie James, and Laura Benanti are joining the Taylor Sheridan series, which Paramount+ renewed in December.

The series follows a family of power brokers in Detroit, starring Jeremy Renner, Hugh Dillon, Taylor Handley, Emma Laird, Tobi Bamtefa, Derek Webster, Nishi Munshi, Hamish Allan-Headley, and Michael Beach.

The following was revealed about the roles the new additions will play:

“Falco will play the series regular role of Nina Hobbs, Anchor Bay’s new prison warden. In a season-long arc, James will play Frank Moses, a legendary gangster respected in the city of Detroit, the state of Michigan, and beyond. Benanti will play the series regular role of Cindy Stephens, a new correctional officer recruited in Kingstown.”...

“Mayor of Kingstown” Season 4 has added four new cast members.

Edie Falco, Lennie James, and Laura Benanti are all set to star alongside Jeremy Renner in the Paramount+ drama’s upcoming fourth season.

Falco will play Nina Hobbs, Anchor Bay’s new prison warden. James will play Frank Moses, described as “a legendary gangster respected in the city of Detroit, the state of Michigan, and well beyond.” Benanti will play Cindy Stephens, a new correctional officer recruited in Kingstown.

Falco is repped by CAA and Entertainment 360. James is repped by UTA, Entertainment 360, and Independent Talent Group. Benanti is repped by The Gersh Agency, Untitled Entertainment and Schreck Rose.

Along with Renner, the cast also includes Hugh Dillon, Tobi Bamtefa, Taylor Handley, Derek Webster, Nichole Galicia and more. The official description states that the series “follows the McLusky family, power brokers in Kingstown, Michigan, where the business of incarceration is the only thriving industry.

Mayor of Kingstown Season 4 has added a trio of familiar faces: Four-time Emmy winner Edie Falco (Nurse Jackie), Lennie James (Fear of the Walking Dead) and Laura Benanti (Younger) have boarded the Paramount+ drama.

Falco will play Nina Hobbs, the new prison warden at Anchor Bay, while Benanti will assume the part of Cindy Stephens, a newly recruited correctional officer. James, meanwhile, will portray gangster Frank Moses.

Mike McLusky (Jeremy Renner) will continue to try and keep the peace in a town ripped apart by gangs in Mayor of Kingstown season four. Paramount+ officially renewed the drama for a fourth season, but didn’t confirm when production will get underway or a target premiere date for the new season.

Season three, filmed after Renner’s horrific accident, claimed the number one spot as Paramount+’s top series during its run, pulling in 8.8 million households.

In addition to Renner as Mike McLusky, season three starred Hugh Dillon as Ian, Taylor Handley as Kyle McLusky, Emma Laird as Iris, and Tobi Bamtefa as Deverin ‘Bunny’ Washington. Derek Webster played Stevie, Hamish Allan-Headley starred as Robert, Nishi Munshi played Tracy, and Michael Beach played Captain Kareem Moore. Some obviously won’t return as their characters met untimely deaths in the third season.

Mayor of Kingstown will return. The Paramount+ show was co-created by Hugh Dillon and Taylor Sheridan (who had previously collaborated as actor and co-creator on the Paramount Network's hit neo-Western series Yellowstone) and follows the turmoil in a town that is heavily involved in the prison industry. Although their involvement in Mayor of Kingstown season 4 is unknown, so far the main cast of the first three seasons has included Jeremy Renner, Tobi Bamtefa, Hamish Allan-Headley, Taylor Handley, and Derek Webster, along with Dillon himself, playing detective Ian Ferguson.
