Magdiela Hermida Duhamel

Magdiela Hermida Duhamel is an independent producer with a diverse portfolio in both animated and live-action productions. Her most recent work was as Associate Producer on Pixar's Inside Out 2, making her the first Mexican-born Latina Producer for the studio. Magdiela has worked with top studios such as FX Networks, DreamWorks Animation, and Cartoon Network LATAM, contributing to renown projects like Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia (Netflix), What If...? (Marvel Studios), The Casagrandes (Nickelodeon), and Rey Mysterio vs. La Oscuridad (MAX Mexico) among others. In 2018, she founded LatinX in Animation, a community dedicated to supporting Latine professionals in animation, VFX, and gaming. Her indie films include Canción Del Lago, a stop-motion short nominated for an ARIEL Award, and Pacemaker, a trans-joy musical that premiered at OUTFEST LA, winning multiple Best Animated Short awards and an ANNIE nomination for Best Original Music. Now available on Roku Channel. Magdiela is currently producing ¡Mosca!, a live-action/animation hybrid short set to premiere in 2025.
