Calvin Ferniza was born in Southern California and is based in the LA/OC area. He started out as a photographer shooting events and working in advertisement for many years before making the transition to cinematography. He began by studying filmmaking at Fullerton College where he won the award for Most Aspiring Television/Film Student in 2016 and graduated with a degree in Cinema-Television. Passionate about the arts he uses the visual image to provoke emotion and tell compelling stories to connect with audiences. He continues to work on sets as often as he can to keep furthering his experience and skills behind and around the camera.
