Adam Dib is a Los Angeles-based composer for film and television who enjoys genre-blending musical styles to create music that is unique, fun and inviting.
Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Adam studied Jazz Saxophone Performance at Wayne State University, later moving to Chicago to pursue his Masters in Music Composition for the Screen at Columbia College where he was awarded a Graduate Assistantship and the opportunity to collaborate and study under composers Kubilay Uner, Brandon Campbell, Peter Golub, and David Wingo, to name a few.
During his career, Adam has had the pleasure to work and collaborate with many incredible composers and artists, and enjoys working with award-winning composer Michael Kramer on many exciting projects such as the newly released He Man and the Masters of the Universe, The Ghost and Molly McGee, Lego Star Wars Summer Vacation, Ninjago, and many more.
Since moving to Los Angeles, Adam has had the pleasure of working with many organizations with the goal of connecting with the local and international composer community while learning from veterans of the craft. In August 2019, he was selected to participate in the Society of Composer and Lyricists Mentor Program, which brings together young composers and songwriters with leading professionals such as Jeff Russo, Allee Willis, and Christopher Farrell to discuss the craft, art, and business of the music industry. Adam was also selected to participate in the Los Angeles Live Score Film Festival 2020, where original scores are performed live to picture by the incredible Helix Collective. Most recently, Adam was selected to participate as a fellow in the Los Angeles Film Conducting Intensive 2023, which culminates in a recording session of an original piece at the Clint Eastwood Scoring Stage at Warner Brothers Studios.
