Max grew up in the rainy forests of North Vancouver, Canada. After falling in love with visual and performing arts in high school, he started his artistic journey studying acting at the Vancouver Film School, then moved on and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Motion Picture Arts from Capilano University. After directing a handful of short films and working in the Vancouver film industry for a few years, Max gained entrance to the prestigious School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California where he earned his Master's Degree. It was at USC he met his creative and life partner Maria-Sara with whom he has made several award winning projects and created Bantam Bears productions.
